"As Africans, maybe we need to change the way we view some animals and get rid of some superstitious beliefs. For example, cats. Do you know when you have cats around your house, you hardly see rats? I guess it will help you during this Era of Lassa Fever. So, cats are not witches. I once lived with/near an Asian woman who kept cats around. Cats just eat and mind their business and they clean themselves most times. Made me learn more about them..... By the way, I don't have rats in my house because I keep a clean environment.
