- Know your drug allergies
- Read about the medicine
- Tell the doctor & pharmacist your health history or condition (e.g. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, hypertensive, diabetic, drug allergies, etc)
- Follow your instincts
- Know how and where to store the drug(temperature and etc)
- Know the dosage, frequency,
- Know the side effects and adverse effects. And take note of how you feel when taking it
- You are responsible for everything you ingest, so don't be afraid to ask questions
- Take note of expiration dates
Over the years and currently being a nursing mother, I try to be careful when I have to take any drug even for cough and common cold because I am responsible for myself and my baby. So, please be careful too and leave the rest for God.
